The name of “Dieng” maybe is not as great as Bromo Volcano, but Dieng can offer an amazing sightseeing which you may not see in other places. Dieng is a plateau which contains of many historical statues and temples from the some kingdoms that lived in that place. In this place which is located between Banjarnegara city and Wonosobo city, people can choose not only one tourism object, but also many tourism objects all at once. This place can be reached easily by public transportation or private car, but private car is easier truly. If you take public transportation, in Magelang bus station you can take a bus to Wonosobo. You will get off in Wonosobo bus station and then take city bus to Dieng Batur bus station and the last you can take micro bus to Dieng. After paying 6000 for entrance fee, you are free to explore this place, but there is additional fee if you want to enter some craters and lakes in this place.

Dieng is open every day from 8 am to 4 pm, but there are some good times to visit Dieng, which is in the summer from Juli to October because there is no fog there. Since it is located in the mountains area, the air in this place is very cold that is why it is recommended for the visitors to bring the thick clothes or jacket. The visitors are forbidden to take anything from Dieng or burn anything in that place.
